Magnesium- Fun fact – Magnesium is so well-studied in asthma that most ER and ICU departments give a magnesium infusion in addition to nebulizers and steroids. Magnesium calms the nerves and relaxes the smooth muscles of the lungs, helping to open the respiratory tract & make breathing easier. 

 

B-complex vitamins- help keep blood cells healthy, improve stress levels, as well as convert nutrients into energy. Help to maintain a biochemical balance in the body & reduce the severity of asthma attacks 

 

Vitamin C- has antioxidant, anti-histamine and anti-inflammatory properties that can help protect lung cells from free-radical damage. People with asthma have been shown to have low levels of vitamin C blood levels.  

 

GH3 (Procaine Hydrochloride)- Research on the beneficial side effects of GH3, created by combining two water soluble B-vitamins: PABA and DEAE, both found within the body and important for good health, began in the 1920s.
